Behind the Scene Stills

On Set Filming
The film was shot in a span of 3 days in Singapore and 2 days in South Korea. It's safe to say it took about two weeks to film the footage and edit the film. I swear there were a few more behind-the-scenes footages for this film, so if I resurface those behind the scenes photos, I will make sure to upload them!

As for the crew-line up (Left to Right): Junki Kim (Actor, Director), Kevin Sohn (Assistant Director, Actor)
Arjun Sharma (Location Manager, Assistant Director), Vignesh Aravindh (Main-Cinematographer)

Version Differences
Technically, it is kinda pointless to pinpoint this because neither version was released to the public. But I would still love to talk about it. There are two variants for this film. The original colored cut from 2019 and the 2021 black and white cut, where I attempted to polish it and somehow release it to the public but ultimately scrapped for the sake of Junki's privacy.  There's not much difference other than the color variant and a minor redundant cut from the colored version.
Alternatively, the earlier cut of the film was titled "The Betrayer" and "The Bloody Claw".

Deleted Scenes
Again, technically speaking, this whole movie is a deleted scene, but there were very few shots that didn't make it into the final cut of either version from 2019 and 2021. Junki was a phenomenal runner, though.

Letter to Junki Kim

To give you guys a historical Context: This film was my frequent actor and production assistant collaborator Junki Kim's first directorial short film, or at least it was meant to be. The man wrote the film and everything from scratch. As I've mentioned before, the film was completed in a short span of 3 days in Singapore and 2 more days in Korea at my end to take footage of Emma's character. Unfortunately, it never saw the light of the day to the public, but the full film is there at the "vault," let's just say. Even though I know it was rough for him for his first short film, I honestly don't think it was a bad attempt and, in fact, quite a decent film for his first directorial film he tried to make. It was all about the learning process, and it couldn't be perfect, even on my end as an assistant director and co-director for this project.  As a person who worked on this film, I hope the man himself will change his mind one day to release the full-fledged film. Only Arjun and I have access to this film at this point. But hey, it's the man's choice, after all. Until then, the film stays in the vault (AKA my hard drive).  There is a silver lining for this project, however, since some of the shots of the film were not completely locked away and were eventually re-used in my experimental horror film 'Rage of the Color
s' which also stars Junki himself too. To conclude, Junki, if you are reading this, I want you to know you did a good job on your first attempt at the short film, and I hope you will change your mind someday. I had a lot of fun making this film with you, man!
